Thames Street Living Room is a place where you can make yourself at home and relax with others or on your own. There's tea, coffee and cake, and free wifi. You can read a newspaper, play a board game, bring your laptop and do some work, or have a chat with friends.

We are currently limited to meeting as a group of 6 so have 2 sessions at church each Monday, with some seating indoors and outdoors at each, as well as the online session after Monday midday prayers.

We hope all kinds of groups and individuals from the community of Wallingford will feel that they can come and feel 'at home' in good company. We would particularly encourage you to bring along anyone you know who might be feeling a bit isolated for any reason.

Every Monday varies with a different mix of people and activities but there is always tea, coffee and cake - help yourself and just pay what you can.

A place of welcome

Since September 2019 we have become part of the Places Of Welcome network!

Originally developed in Birmingham, Places of Welcome is a growing network of local community groups providing their neighbourhoods with places where all people feel safe to belong, connect and contribute.
