Thy Kingdom Come (TKC) is a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray from Ascension to Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus.

Since its start in May 2016, God has grown Thy Kingdom Come from a dream of possibility into a movement. In 2019 Christians from 172 countries took part in praying ‘Come Holy Spirit’, so that friends and family, neighbours and colleagues might come to faith in Jesus Christ.

We would encourage everyone to put this poster in their window from 21st May (perhaps with a candle if safe to do so). Let's show our Christian presence in our streets and pray as we see the poster as part of our daily exercise!

Following the success of the Churches Together Good Friday Virtual Service, we plan to worship and pray together again for our local area, with people from all the local churches joining us via Zoom.

There will be two main joint online services:

  • 5pm Thursday 21 May (Ascension Day)
  • 5pm Sunday 31 May (Pentecost Sunday)

CTWA churches will also join us for our midday prayers on the weekdays in this period (Fri 22nd, Mon 25th - Fri 29th, normally for about 15 minutes), and these will be led by representatives from the different member churches. Here is the liturgy we will be using for you to download.

Please note that from the 5pm service on Thursday 21st we will use a new Zoom meeting ID for all of the above events.

Please contact us if you haven't been sent the details but are hoping to join via Zoom. We are not posting these here or on social media.

If you cannot join Zoom for any other reason, you can view the events on our Facebook page or our WBC YouTube channel.

Of course we would also warmly invite you to join WBC for our Pentecost morning service - and why not invite your "five" for whom you are praying!
