Church on Sunday
This Sunday our service will just be on Zoom at 10.30am (or you can go to the church building where the Zoom service will be shown - do let us know you're coming. There will not be any pre-service worship at church at 10am this week.) It will not be on Facebook or YouTube. The service is on Zoom so that we can share prayer needs and news. I’ll be sharing about my future plans.
As the school year has ended, we are going to focus on ‘Remembering and Rejoicing: Celebrating God’s Goodness’
We will be thinking back to what we have learnt in this time of lockdown and giving thanks to God for his goodness to us. There will also be time to pray for the ongoing challenges which we are facing.
Please take some time before the service to think about what you have learnt about God’s goodness in recent months and come to the service willing to share.
The beginning of the service will be aimed at All Ages and I have attached an activity sheet for children to look at in the latter part of the service.
I have also attached a butterfly identification chart which children might like to use to spot butterflies. Your family could even participate in the big butterfly count.
Just a reminder that Midday prayer will continue throughout the holidays every weekday. It is on Zoom from Monday to Friday and will also be on Facebook each Wednesday. Please join us if you are able. We have a variety of church members leading Midday prayer through the coming weeks so please try to support them. The Zoom details are the same as for the Sunday service.
I look forward to seeing you all on Sunday.
